The ROFA EuroDist TBP-L impresses with its large capacity and a completely modular design. Furthermore, the system not only convinces with its impressive key figures. The numerous functions and individual expansion features also leave nothing to be desired with this distillation system. The ROFA EuroDist TBP-L reliably handles distillation jobs with flask sizes up to 250 litres and keeps 20 receivers with a size of 2000 ml ready for your distillation output.
EuroDist separates from the competition
The EuroDist TBP-L for large distillation jobs up to 250 Litres has the same modular framework concept as all ROFA EuroDist distillation plants. But there are some extra features, which separate the EuroDist System plants from the competition.
The main condenser has two separate circuits which are powered by two independent thermostats. Therefore allowing operation at lower distillation rates, if one thermostat is not available. The big flask is installed on a movable support. It has a drain valve at the bottom with big and robust wheels guaranteeing a smooth rolling motion.
Maximum of safety and comfort
The reflux divider and main condenser are installed on a moveable support, which can be lifted up and down by an electric winch. If any service or installation work is required, the whole construction can be driven down to floor level - from a height of approximately 4 metres for a 50 Litres plant – by simply pushing a button. No more risky climbing on high ladders and no more fear of breaking heavy and expensive glassware!
ASTM D2892
The ASTM D 2892, also called TBP (True Boiling Point) can fractionize crude oils from 15°C up to 420°C AET (atmospheric equivalent temperature) at pressure stages down to 1 Torr. The distillation column has 15 -18 theoretical plates and complies fully with the ASTM D 2892.
