Distillation system according to ASTM D5236 & D1160

The ROFA EuroDist MPS-P(b) impresses with its space-saving framework and a completely modular construction. The unit can be converted to ASTM D1160 with few movements and without any tools. The column design complies fully with the ASTM D1160 method. The ROFA EuroDist MPS-P(b) reliably handles distillation jobs with flask sizes from 500 ml up to 4 litres and keeps 12 receivers with a size of 200 ml ready for your distillation output.

Distillation according to ASTM D2892

The compact series models have the same modular framework design as all ROFA Germany distillation plants. The thermostats are located at the rear of the unit and are accessible from the left or right side of the plant. The complete frame of the plant as well as the computer table are mounted on movable casters and the computer table can be placed at any desired position around the distillation unit.

The compact series models have a carousel instead of a conveyor belt for transferring the receivers through the distillation unit. The carousel runs inside a chamber which is equipped with a lockable door. The chamber can be heated up to 90°C without any problems and includes a volume follower system, a cut weighing equipment and bottle closing system.

ASTM D5236

The ASTM D 5236 (Potstill) can fractionize crude oil or crude oil residue from 150°C up to 570 °C (at atmospheric equivalent temperature); from atmospheric or 10 Torr pressure down to a vacuum of 0.1 Torr.
